Y’all seen this “swatting” story about two nerds beefing over $2 and ended up prank calling police who killed some innocent man minding his business on the other side of the country.

Can’t wait to see how the police spin this innocent man as a threat when he was simply answering his door with no idea of what was coming to him.
The fact that the police expects us to believe that this man opened his door in the middle of the night to see a swarm of police in gear and docked with guns all of a sudden “make a move towards his belt” is insulting our intelligence. If a whole team police can’t detain one unarmed man opening his door without murdering him, what the hell are they useful for?
I don’t understand how the police didn’t think something was up when the caller was from Los Angeles and the address they gave was in fucking Kansas and they said they get about 400 swatting cases a year but just decided to start shooting when someone opened the door.
Yesterday I went to buy some yarn and so you know how annoying it is when fucking people put those stupid bullshit “don’t use this, wool is murder” PETA stickers on the label?
First of all, stop defacing stock in someone’s store. You’re not clever or saving the planet or anything. You’re making it hard for customers to shop and see the info they need on the label (yardage, weight, dye lot)… You’re making employees spend hours peeling the damn things off, and in some cases, you’re causing damage to the label and or yarn itself. That means loss to the company, which affects employees who probably make minimum wage, you shit bags. You want to make change happen? Contact corporate, you fuckhead. That’s where decisions are made.
Second of all, wool is not murder. Are you fucking stupid? (Obviously the answer is yes). It’s a fucking haircut for a sheep. They’ve been domesticated so long that if we don’t sheer them, it’s bad. Yes, some sheep don’t live in ideal conditions. Got a problem with that? Going to a yarn store and putting stickers on things isn’t going to change it or the minds of customers. For fuck’s sake, you absolute cockwomble, go to the yarn companies. Make them use wool providers that use humane conditions for their yarn, like A LOT OF YARN COMPANIES DO.
And third of all.
You. You precious, empty-headed little shitnugget. You complete and total sawdust-for-brains.
You put your fucking stickers all over acrylic yarn.
There’s no fucking wool in there. It’s all synthetic fiber. Basically, it’s plastic.
My abusive mother just told me that she “accidentally” threw away my passport when she was spring cleaning.
Guys, I’m supposed to be travelling overseas on January 10 to reconnect with my dad and discuss the possibility of him supporting me. After struggling to survive for months, this was supposed to be my chance at finally getting financial support.
But now I’m absolutely devastated. My mother will stop at nothing to keep me financially screwed and relying on food banks to live.
I MAY be able to get a new passport in time, but I would have to pay so many fees. $277 for a new one and $183 for it to be processed quickly.
I KNOW THIS ISN’T THE MOST URGENT THING BUT I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH THIS TRIP MEANS TO ME. I HAVEN’T SEEN MY FATHER IN YEARS. I WANT HAVE A CHANCE TO SEE HIM FOR YEARS AFTER THIS BECAUSE THIS WAS A ONE-TIME ONLY DEAL. I CAN’T LET MY MOTHER DO THIS TO ME.

i think it’s a shame that so many people speak perfect english just from the internet/tv and get no real recognition for it. there’s this horrible assumption that being fluent in english is just a given (propaganda from americans in cargo shorts i believe) and english is brushed off as an “easy” language. that isn’t the case at all and if you’ve learned english that’s amazing and im honestly in awe. i hate that people achieve so much to reach the minimum expectation, and then english speakers will pat themselves on the back for being able to count to 10 in french
